There are couples you work with, and then there are couples who truly become a part of your heart, and Casey and Adam are undoubtedly one of those couples. Our journey together began with a simple mini session, when Casey was pregnant, and over the course of the year and a half leading up to their wedding, I had the privilege of watching their love story unfold in the most beautiful way.
Casey and I quickly formed a bond that went beyond just photographer and client. As we spent time planning her wedding, we shared so many personal moments, from Pinterest boards filled with wedding inspo to Instagram messages bouncing ideas back and forth. It felt less like work and more like helping a friend bring her dream day to life. We laughed, brainstormed, and celebrated each tiny detail along the way, and by the time their big day arrived, I felt as if I was witnessing the union of not just two people, but of family.
Their wedding day was everything Casey had envisioned—timeless, full of love, and truly special. As she walked down the aisle, she radiated beauty and grace. But the moment that truly tugged at my heartstrings was seeing Adam, who has always been a rock of support and strength, become completely overcome with emotion. I don’t think there was a dry eye in the room as Adam, unable to hold back his tears, watched the woman he loves walk toward him on their wedding day. And it wasn’t just the love between the two of them—it was the deep, overwhelming joy of sharing this moment with their daughter by their side, marking the start of their new chapter as a family.
What made this wedding even more magical was the love, joy, and unity that filled every moment. Adam and Casey's connection was clear in every glance, every touch, and the way they held each other so closely throughout the day. But the biggest joy for me was witnessing how they brought their daughter into this moment—how their little family stood together, ready to start this beautiful chapter hand in hand.
