Candid, real and unposed photography

bringing timeless love to new orleans.

Kelley and Evan’s wedding was an absolute dream to capture. Being from out of state, they chose the beautiful Degas House in New Orleans for their special day—a venue that perfectly complemented their elegant yet vibrant vision. The charm of New Orleans, paired with their love, made for a truly unforgettable celebration. From the moment I arrived, I could feel the energy of the day—full of love, excitement, and joy.

What stood out most was the incredible connection between Kelley and Evan. Their first look was an emotional moment that left me speechless. Evan, who is usually composed, became visibly moved as he saw Kelley for the first time in her wedding dress. The raw emotion between them was so real, and it was a privilege to be there to witness it. His tears, her smile, and the way they held each other—it was a beautiful reminder of the love that filled every moment of their day.

"THE SOUND OF THE CITY"

The wedding itself was a stunning blend of color, class, and timeless elegance. Kelley’s vibrant bouquet perfectly complemented the lush surroundings of the Degas House, while the tasteful decor added an air of sophistication to every corner of the venue. The couple’s personalities truly shined through in the little details—from the floral arrangements to the rich, warm tones that filled the space—everything was carefully curated, making it both personal and breathtaking.

A highlight of the celebration was the classic New Orleans Second Line band, which added an unforgettable touch of excitement and tradition. The lively parade through the streets, complete with joyful dancing and music, was a true New Orleans experience, and it was amazing to witness Kelley and Evan leading the way, surrounded by their loved ones.

No New Orleans wedding would be complete without local flavors, and Kelley and Evan’s dessert spread was a true celebration of the city’s culinary culture. The custom New Orleans desserts, including beignets and pralines, were the perfect sweet ending to an already perfect day.

As the day went on, the laughter, dancing, and joy never stopped. You could feel the love between Kelley and Evan not just through the big moments but in every glance, every touch, and every laugh they shared. Their wedding was a perfect reflection of their relationship: full of color, life, and a love that will undoubtedly stand the test of time.

Capturing Kelley and Evan’s wedding was an absolute honor. The beauty of New Orleans, the elegance of their wedding day, and the love they share were the perfect combination for timeless photographs that I know they will cherish forever. I couldn’t be happier for them, and I’m so grateful I had the opportunity to document their extraordinary day.
